MUSICIANary - one who writes, sings, plays and GOES. These are my passions, and this is what Mr. God has created me to do.
If you know me, you know that I absolutely love adventure. And, as much as I love fun adventures like climbing and boating and Vespa cruising, I love adventures with a purpose even more. I have had opportunities to write songs in Thailand, to sing over girls rescued from sex trafficking in Cambodia, to lead worship and encourage church leaders in Myanmar, to play with orphans and vulnerable children in Haiti, Guatemala and South Africa. These are moments I won’t soon forget and these moments have impacted me deeply.
Just as importantly (if not more!), I have been able to be a husband to an incredible wife and to be a father to 3 beautiful girls. I have had the opportunity to develop rich and meaningful friendships here in Northern Ireland and across the pond in Canada and America. The churches I have had the chance to lead worship at, and the tours that I have been on have been rich and meaningful and life changing for so many…including myself and my family.
Plan A for the past number of years has been to use whatever platform I have been given to work with organizations like World Orphans and be a part of caring for the “least of these”. Plan A has been a calling that I continue to love. A passion that is in my bones. Plan A has more songs to be written, more stories to be told, more places to go, and more kids to serve. Plan A allows me to actively pursue my passions of loving God (worship) and loving others (justice). But, Plan A needs your help…because there is no Plan B!
In an effort to keep doing what Mr. God has created me to do, I ask for you to join my team. Would you consider joining me in this effort to continue to write, sing, play and go? I am looking for monthly partners that truly desire to help me keep going. Although I am moving forward under the new mantra of “Aaron Boyd music”, Bluetree is set up as a 501C3, which makes your monthly gift tax deductible.
Your love and prayers for me and my family over the past many years have been a huge encouragement to us. The people we have been able to meet and opportunities that have been given to us has been nothing short of amazing. I get emotional thinking about it. As good as these past several years have been, I firmly believe that with your help, we are just getting started.
